Formerly based in Southern California and now based in Atlanta, Marchant TV International, Inc. creates, develops and produces original ideas into premium quality film and television content for domestic and international audiences in both the scripted and non-scripted worlds.
The company is currently working on international co-production deals for its scripted material.
President Ray Marchant is an accomplished industry executive with a career spanning 30 years, 4 continents and multiple disciplines in the entertainment world. Ray earned a Master’s Degree in Film and Television Production and Media Management from Florida State University. He has worked with European broadcasters such as the BBC, Thames Television, TF1 and NDR. He has produced projects in France, Israel, Nicaragua, Zimbabwe, Russia and the United States. His production career includes positions with iCandy TV, Inc., the Disney/MGM Studios, and in an array of productions including “Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee,” “Star Search,” as well as national commercials, live television events, music videos and the largest press events in entertainment history including the opening of Disneyland Paris.
Marchant produced “No Turning Back,” a Dove Award-winning full-length feature film about the early Western U.S. settlers Dr. Marcus & Narcissa Whitman.
Marchant also directed “The Promise”, an epic musical theater production with 160 cast members and 45 member tech crew to a record-breaking run of sell out performances in a 3,200 seat amphitheater – a first for the show’s history, the likes of which have yet to be replicated. This show was taped, broadcast and viewed by millions around the world. As Executive In Charge of Production and C.F.O. of the Emmy® Award-winning iCandy TV, Inc., he helped develop a variety of television series, pitching them to networks, and overseeing their production, including their parent company and respective subsidiaries.
As President of Marchant TV International, Marchant remains hands-on in the development of premium entertainment content brining unique and fresh ideas to audiences domestically and internationally.
